Part of a collection of jewelry simply titled : SMILE
 
"SMILE" is a collection is hand fabricated Happy faces by Katie Holland. Each piece is hand fabricated from sterling silver and glass enamel.

The smile faces are crafted from 7 layers of powdered glass enamel. Each layer is fired to approx. 1500 degrees which melts and fuses the glass onto a copper base. After all the layers have be fired, a smiley face is hand drawn with liquid black enamel onto the colorful base and fired one last time to permanently fuse it into place. Because each face is hand drawn no two are alike and this individuality adds to the joyful whimsey of the pieces. 
Custom setting are created for each smiley face from sterling silver.
