I have fallen in love with painting using glass enamel lately! This pendant features a tiny blue butterfly i based this off a mix of a blue morpho and a swallowtail. 
The "paint" i use is made from very fine powdered glass mixed with a binder to turn it into a paintable substance. Once the design is finished it is heated with a torch to burn off the binder and permanently fused the glass particles together into a tiny glass painting
The setting is hand fabricated from sterling silver and hung from a sterling silver chain.
